What file formats can Arbin export? What if I don’t have Excel?

Arbin can export data as excel or csv file.

Short answer: Arbin can export test data as an Excel file (.xlsx) or a CSV file (.csv). If Excel isn’t installed on your computer, export as CSV and open it with a free program such as LibreOffice Calc.

Which format should I choose?

I don’t have Excel. What should I do?

  1. Export your test data from Arbin as a CSV file.

  2. Download and install LibreOffice (free) from Free and private office suite, no forced AI — LibreOffice .

  3. Open the CSV file with LibreOffice Calc. When the import window appears, make sure Comma is selected as the separator, then click OK.

You can also open CSV files with Google Sheets or any plain text editor.

Good to know

  • A CSV file contains data only. It does not keep charts, colors, or multiple sheets, so you may get several CSV files for one test.

  • Excel and LibreOffice Calc both have a limit of about 1,048,576 rows per sheet. For very long tests, the data may need to be split into several files, or analyzed with a tool like Python instead.
