| Input Gas Filters | If you purchase this option, the system will come with gas filters for the supply gas lines to the Arbin FCTS system. | |||||||
Input Gas Pressure Regulators |
If you purchase this option, the system will come with input gas pressure regulators for the supply gas lines. This is not the same as back pressure control for testing which is a standard feature in our systems. You will need this option if your supply gas is not pressure regulated or if the pressure is not stable. |

| Heater Cartridges | This option is electronic heater cartridges that are compatible with our Electronic Heater Cartridge control module. | |||||||
| Water Management System | This option is a specially designed system that monitors the amount of water supplied to the fuel cell in the form of humidification and the amount of water removed from the fuel cell in the exhaust stream. It allows for calculation of water consumption/production. | |||||||
| Hydrogen Generation System (600sccm) | This option is for an H2 generator that produces Hydrogen at 600sccm per unit. The H2 generator is a third party product. It requires high purity DI water for operation. | |||||||
| Secondary Humidity Sensors (Anode and Cathode) | All Arbin systems control humidity very accurately. This option is for secondary dew point sensors that provide dew point data to the user. These sensors respond more slowly than the control loops in the Arbin FCTS system and thus, they are not used for feedback control. | |||||||
| Digital I/O (8ch input, 8ch output) | This option is an 8 channel input and 8 channel output auxiliary board. The I/O board can be delivered with TTL or relay control (please specify which you prefer at the time of order). | |||||||
| 4 Fixed Frequency AC Impedance | This is a 4 fixed frequency AC impedance measurement module. It measures impedance at 100Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz, and 2000Hz with a ±5% accuracy on value and phase shift. It is not designed to replace a scanning EIS system for accurate measurement and characterization. Rather, it is designed to give the user a general idea about the impedance of the sample. Advantages are that it provides a instantaneous value that can be used to control the test. For more accurate EIS measurements, we recommend purchasing stand-alone specialized equipment for this purpose. | |||||||
| Pressure Transducer Input Module (8ch) | 8 channel pressure transducer input option. The standard system measures all pressures in the system. This option would be needed for a special requirement or non-standard pressure reading. | |||||||
| Fuel Cell Fixture(s) | Arbin sells a number of different sized fuel cell fixtures (with and without MEA). For more information, visit our fixtures page here. | |||||||
| H2 Recycle System | This option was designed for high power fuel cell test systems that use large quantities of Hydrogen gas. This option uses a compressor and purifier to recycle H2 captured in the exhaust stream back to the FCTS input. | |||||||
