The electronic load and data acquisition module
includes the electronic load and assorted signal inputs/outputs
such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, voltage, AC impedance,
and digital input/output, as well as the communication
microcontroller. All of the devices in this unit are plug
and play modular design. External devices, such as gas
analyzers and ovens, can be connected through a standard TCP/IP
(RJ45) connection.
High-quality patented electronic loads in wide current,
voltage and power ranges are offered for fuel cell
testing. Control modes include current, power, load and
voltage in constant, ramp, staircase, and cycling scenarios.
Up to three current ranges and two voltage ranges are available
for increased accuracy and resolution. Optional discharge
booster with low voltage clamp enables discharging to 0V at
maximum current. Multiple electronic loads can be
integrated within one system for testing of multiple fuel cells.
Potentiostat/Galvanostat Loads are also available with charging capability for polarization research. Ask your Sales Engineer for more information about this option.
